APPRAISALS

We provide two types of appraisals. Informal appraisals are the most common, where customers stop by the shop with items for sale. Generally, there is no fee for this. The customer will receive a verbal price quote for the lot along with other pertinent information, as needed.

Formal appraisals are detailed written appraisals, and there is a $40/hour fee for this. Formal appraisals can be done at our store or at your chosen location - yes, we do make house calls! There is never any obligation or pressure to sell, and we always encourage our customers to get second opinions. We are confident that our offers will be as competitive as can be found anywhere. We have built a large referral network by treating sellers as we would like to be treated ourselves - with honesty and integrity.

If you have items for sale, you have two choices: Stop by during normal 10-5 business hours or arrange for a private appointment during off hours. Private appointments, preferred by many, are available either before 10am or after 5pm and are generally done more efficiently, and with fewer interruptions. We look forward to hearing from you!
